Applied research and development to accelerate innovations for a safe and sustainable chemistry

In September 2024, DECHEMA's "Forum" will take place for the first time in Friedrichshafen under the motto "Science and Industry in Dialogue".

The new format stands for more interaction and networking and addresses the current question "How can chemistry, pharmaceuticals and life sciences make their production more sustainable today?".

There are many visions for a sustainable industrial future - hydrogen economy, circular economy, waste-free production. But what is already available today? How do we deal with climate change and resource scarcity? How can processes be developed and scaled more efficiently, and what tools are available for this? And what can the sectors learn from each other?

Numerous lectures, (panel) discussions, workshops/practical sessions and a poster and company exhibition will ensure that not only all aspects are covered, but also provide inspiration and ideas for new solutions. And young scientists will not only find a lot of information here, but also the opportunity to establish initial networks beyond their own specialist areas and make contact with potential employers during the career forum, for example.
